  1. After listening to Whole Brain Living where the author had a stroke and temporarily lost function in her left brain, the right brain not freaking out makes more sense. Freaking out is such a left brain thing to do.

  2. I am very late to this video but right brain might think it can talk because the 2 parts communicate you might only find out you were right brain after the procedure. If anyone disagrees I would love to know the reason because this is just a guess with no basis.

  3. this kind of thing is something that people are confused about but go along with thinking that this is the only thing like this out there, it isn't though.
people with DID and other similar brain functionalities work similarly to this by default, without the split. we, the person commenting this, are one of those people, we are a collective of 15 individuals working together as one, coordinating and talking to each other to make tasks and function happen, each playing a part to create the 'person' we are, while this doesn't make sense to everyone, it doesn't have to.
people are multiple, most are two, some are more. for those who are wondering, yes we can 'be' individually, but where's the fun in that?

  4. Anyone else thinks this would be a great concept for a si fi story ware someone clones themselves, but the non dominant side of the brain gets copied exposing the a different person then the person that was being cloned?

  5. I wonder if this is why it's so hard to diet. You know you have to stop eating junk food and watch your calories but it's like something else takes control and you end up eating an entire carton of Chips Ahoy cookies in one sitting.
