This is not good for the citizens of Arkansas. This proposal was funded by the 5 big grow companies and explicitly forbids home grow of cannabis "to protect the children". I suspect its more about protecting their profits. This recreational cannabis proposal is all about making you buy their product only and paying high taxes as well. The black market in Arkansas is alive and well right now; just imagine how much bigger the black market gets when people get a taste of the dispensary price tag. Unfortunately Arkansans didn't read the amendment. This is not a recreational. You can still be arrested and sent to prison for possessing just one seed, more than one oz, unauthorized distribution even medicine brought over from Oklahoma. This is a power monopoly grab by the well connected cultivators to further there grip on bad expensive cannabis. The medical program was already a joke. One cultivator GDF already ruined their reputation by pumping bad product (poison) had to fire everyone. This is not free market capitalism. This is not small government. This is corruption
